Our society understands the stages of human development: babies walk around the age of one year, there are the terrible twos and teenage angst, and our baby birds often leave the nest around the age 18. What is less understood is adult development: the predictable stages for how a person grows and develops over their lifetime.

Adult development holds the key for transforming your clients’ experience and managing their progress. Understanding adult development also helps you more deeply access the core competencies (establishing trust, powerful questioning, creating awareness and managing progress and accountability, to name a few). It empowers you to understand your clients on a deeper level. It cultivates a richer soil for the client’s growth. It goes well beyond the basics of establishing and reaching a goal. Adult development has the power to shift your client’s worldview and create transformative changes in their lives.

This thought-provoking and practical session will:

  • review the different stages of adult development theory,
  • provide clues to listen and watch for so you can distinguish what stage your client might be in, and
  • discuss why transformation to higher order stages is critical while leading in unprecedented times.

This webinar has been approved for 1 core competency and .5 resource development CCEUs. Please note that if you'd like to receive a CCEU certificate after the program, you must register at the $15 CCEU rate. Payments will not be accepted after the webinar.
