Drive Results Without Damaging Relationships®
Coaching Abrasive Executives

Participants will hear a unique perspective for coaching executives who are experienced as abrasive and sometimes called bullies. These executives provoke strong reactions and much of the leadership literature calls them demeaning names like jerk, narcissist, and more colorful terms. They are a challenge for many executive coaches. Jordan Goldrich, PCC will discuss how to help them be completely authentic and achieve results, positive relationships, and respect.

In this interactive session, we will discuss how to establish trust and intimacy with very direct, success driven people. Often, they think that the pressure they receive to change their communication style is political correctness. You will learn an effective engagement structure and the philosophies and theories that enable you to hear their underlying concerns, communicate a broader perspective and facilitate learning and results.

Learning Outcomes/Takeaways

  1. Establish trust and credibility with executives identified as abrasive or bullies
  2. Help the client identify the key drivers of their behavior
  3. Select a goal that is consistent with their core values
  4. Design an effective structure for executive coaching for these executives
