Session Description:

This session will introduce an expanded way to coach using somatic experiments with clients. By using experiments, coaches enable sessions to go beyond just the ‘talking’ that typically happens in coaching sessions and invites the spotlight to shine on how a client’s body contributes to their lived experience. By raising awareness of who we are as physical beings, we stand to significantly expand our possibilities and choice in a variety of situations. This workshop is underscored by all the current neuroscience studies demonstrating how our personal history lives in our body and how intimately connected our body is to our brain.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES

In this highly interactive and thought-provoking presentation, attendees will learn:

1. Build skill for ICF Core Competencies 6,7,8: Listens actively, evokes awareness, facilitates client growth.

2. Learn how to design an experiment

3. Small groups - experience a somatic experiment

4. Large group experience – create a somatic experiment for a live client (facilitator)
