Your facilitator, Katherine (Kit) Prendergast, PCC, Leadership Development Coaching & Training

Kit brings 25 years of hard-earned experience navigating her coaching and training business through three economic downturns and an international move. She is the founder and owner of Career Connections of Sierra Nevada, LLC, a leadership development coaching and training company based in Reno, Nevada, established in 2003.
Kit brings extensive experience and expertise to the People Side of Leadership which adds a unique value to her work with both seasoned and emerging leaders. Her clients appreciate that Kit’s training courses and professional coaching services are always customized to their specific needs and concerns.
Kit proudly holds the PCC level credential (2008) from the International Coach Federation (ICF) as well as multiple certifications, including Executive & Leadership Development Coach, Social & Emotional Intelligence Coach, and previously a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with Kaiser Permanente HMO.
Kit lived and worked in Norway for several years, which gave her a deep appreciation for different cultures. She also volunteered in several countries with Global Volunteers, helping rural communities become more self-sufficient. These experiences sparked her strong interest in serving clients both nationally and internationally.
